International Women's Day 2021

?????????????????????????? ??????????'?? ?????? is recognized annually to reflect on the often overlooked contributions by women in global history and this year's theme is #??????????????????????????????????.

As we are celebrating this important day - male allies, this applies to you as well -

how can we ensure women's voices are widely heard and considered? What are the things that matter most to us women? What is the change that we have promised ourselves we will make?

In my latest post on my Instagram channel I shared with you my journey from my last 9 to 5 job to where I am today.

When I made the decision to embrace the self employed journey, I was unsure how to proceed in my new career path, but I was sure of ?? ???????????? ???????????? ???? ?????????????? ?????????? ???? ???????????? ???????????? ????????????????????. I was clear that I wanted to live more closely aligned with my values and purpose, as well as to have financial freedom.

I knew I am here to make an impact in the world and I felt a strong calling in my heart to finally act on it ???? ?????????? ???? ???????? ???? ?????? ??????????????.

This came after a long period of challenging my own perceptions of being a self employed woman and learning how to deal with all the decisions that I make in my life, rather than having all projects and career-life decisions led by a boss, a higher authority.

How I managed to overcome these mindset challenges was through lots of ?????????????????????????? to see my dream come to life, and most of all, a ?????????????? ??????????????.

?? I wouldn't have seriously considered being an entrepreneur if it wasn't for my life partner reminding me that my worth is beyond a job, interviews, and a pay check; I was lucky to have that support and to be encouraged to take my time to do the inner work I needed to do.

?? I wouldn't have launched my VA business without the TechPixies social media training which massively helped with my confidence in realising the potential I had for supporting others with digital marketing.

?? I wouldn't have focused my business on a niche without The PopUp Business School (now The Rebel School) start-up course which helped with the amazing friendships and accountability group I made from it, as well as the kick in the butt to launch and make Golden Branch VA visible on social media as a service provider.

The most EXCITING part is I get to help women who have the same goals!
