International Women's Day - 8 March 2020

I congratulate and say thank you to all women, on this day and hope that the world can not just take notice of, but action ‘generation equality’.

The theme for International Women's Day (8 March) 2020 is, I am Generation Equality: Realizing Women's Rights. The theme is aligned with UN Women's new multigenerational campaign, Generation Equality, which marks the 25th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action

In our business we have 4 amazing women who bring an incredible array of talents to work each and every day, equality is not just measured by whether they are paid the same as a man, but also how they are treated.

It is important to have day’s such as today where we stop and reflect.

International Women’s day in 2020 has such a different meaning to that of International Men’s day and this year the aim of International Men's Day is to celebrate positive male role models and to raise awareness of men's issues. These include topics such as mental health, toxic masculinity and the prevalence of male suicide.

So to Amy, Faya, Irene and Sharen, happy international Women’s day and here’s to generation equality.
