What is your career journey?
My career journey has been far from straightforward. I learned early in life that what I liked to do most was to learn and to improve things around me. This mindset tends to open you up to a variety of potentially satisfying career paths. I’ve worked in accounting, retail, education, insurance, athletics, community development… the list could go on. I landed in HR almost 9 years ago and enjoyed the challenge of trying to get it right. I haven’t gotten things figured out yet, so I’m still at it.

How do you balance your personal and professional life as a woman?
I don’t always get this one right. I think of work-life balance as more of a give and take. Work and personal life demands ebb and flow. I just do my best to stay grounded in my values and let those prioritize how I distribute my time and energy across all of life’s domains.
What have you learned by being a woman?
I have learned that being a woman means I have unique strengths and unique limitations. The same goes for being an individual. I can’t be everything to everyone and so I am grateful to be one part of a greater, more diverse, community.

What is your career journey?
I started my career at Audi Mexico where I was sent to Germany to learn the paint shop process and went back to Mexico to implement it on the launching of the new facility. After 4 years, I decided to leave production and start a new position so that I could gain a different view on this business. I was then transferred to the industrial engineering department where I was responsible for the paint shop and the improvements from performance KPI's within the company. After 8 years of work with Audi, I decided to take a different course and leave the company and my country to enroll in a new experience. I now work for Ingenics in the USA, and I am very happy with my decision since this gave my professional and personal life a positive 360-degree change.?
