This year, I’m especially excited to celebrate International Women’s Day. I’m inspired by its bold, aspirational theme that encourages us all to #embraceequity and achieve far greater inclusivity.

#EmbraceEquity calls on us to go beyond imagining a world that is free of bias and discrimination to creating a world where our overlapping spheres of influence are activated to effect meaningful and lasting change.?

I have long believed that setting an aspirational goal is the first step to greatness. Envisioning a better tomorrow creates an irresistible positive energy force and awakens our innate desire to stretch our imaginations and build a deeply satisfying life of purpose and meaning.

Michelangelo said it best when he stated, “The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it.”

Creating a more perfect and equitable world means all of us aiming higher than we think possible, working together – in our communities and in all that we do – and holding ourselves accountable to actively embracing the value and richness of our differences.??
