International Women's Day 2023- Revenue Scotland Coffee Morning

Women at all levels play a vital role in Revenue Scotland's success and growth, so for International Women's Day, we hosted an internal celebratory coffee morning for our colleagues. This hybrid session was an opportunity to meet face-to-face and be joined by staff from throughout Scotland, to recognise and honour the contributions of women in the workplace. Our event was open to all staff as an opportunity for allyship and learning.

The session featured Lauren Smith from the Scottish Government Women's Development Network, who told us about how the group work to create a supportive platform for women across the Civil Service in Scotland. The Network is a space for members to network, share experiences and attend a range of events.

One of our colleagues baked homemade cupcakes for the occasion and we look forward to hosting further opportunities to bring our people together and continue these important conversations.

The theme for this year's International Women's Day is #EmbraceEquity and recognises that a level playfield for women is often not enough. We are committed to providing a supportive culture in Revenue Scotland and work to champion equality, diversity and inclusion.
