How far have we come as women, through the generations, fighting for equal pay, rights , respect and the right to be in a safe environment, loved and cared for, by a system that does not dismiss us as emotional beings, or taken at face value for the way we look.
No longer are women, sitting accepting being used as servants , multi tasking , running a household, bearing children, adjusting to men's timetables. Then burning out, running from domestic violence to live later in life alone and broke, this is a real fact of life for many. They take care of their families for years, only to end up broke and alone. Finding solutions to this ever growing problem in society, is a challenge for Governments to create and help the vulnerable women.
CEO's are still predominately men, when women are educated, highly skilled, accomplished, bringing new ideas to the table. As women take up roles of Leadership, they set the benchmark for other women to step up to the mark and follow. More companies need to open the door for experienced women, in fields that men have dominated for too long.
