International Women's Day 2018

For International Women’s Day, we’d like to highlight a few inspirational women doing great things in data and insight:

Kristin Luck, CEO of Women In Research. WIRe sees great value in serving as a resource for women in the research community, who often don’t have a voice. They believe there’s room at the table for everyone and we as women should lift each other up and create opportunities, rather than compete against each other. WIRe connects women across the globe within the research community, bringing out the confidence and drive within them. A company which is a great asset within our market to helping women, help women.

Annie Pettit, previously a VP at Research Now and currently consulting, is a strong voice in the industry, championing women and leading by example. As well as speaking at conferences herself, she manages the Research Speakers Club. While the club encourages both men and women to get into speaking, Annie has specifically championed women speaking at conferences and drawn attention to panels that lack diversity.

Edwina Dunn, the data pioneer who co-founded Dunnhumby and more recently, The Female Lead. Changing the way we shop and now changing the way we view women in society, The Female Lead is a non-profit organisation dedicated to making women’s stories more visible and offering alternative role models to those ever-present in popular culture. Having created a unique and more visible space for women in both research and more generally, Edwina’s work is highly notable, which should be celebrated this International Women’s Day.

Gillian Tomlinson, Chief Data Officer at RSA, awarded Chief Data Officer of the year 2017 & ranked 2nd in Data IQ’s 100 profiles of the most influential people in data-driven business. Gillian is responsible for the development of a new strategic capability for data that extends beyond management information (MI) at RSA and has also been named as one of the Top 20 Women in Data by The Female Lead in 2017.

Happy International Women’s day, from all at ENI!

Hi Liz I wonder if you have any availability for lunch with Andrea and I in the next three weeks, perhaps where we went last time in Villiers Street Regards Roger
