International Teams for Wicked6
28 - 30th March 2025

International Teams for Wicked6

I Co-Chair with my US colleague, Dr. Deanne Cranford-Wesley a special interest group supporting diversity that represent UK & US education establishments. One of our medium term goals is to bring together international students and build teams to enter a cyber competition. The competition that works best for this is Wicked6 and this year their round-the-world game stretches out for a whole weekend!

How do we get women from different countries into teams?

UK award winning university network CyberWomen Groups C.I.C. are coordinating the collaboration of international teams via their Wicked6 Discord Community Form.

  • If you sign up as a single female/non-binary person looking for a team to enter the Wicked6 competition then this group is for you.
  • If you are a group of women/non-binary people who would like to try the Wicked6 competition - this group is for you.
  • If you are 18+ and in education both full or part time and have an interest in cyber - this group is for you.
  • If you are based in UK, US, Europe - wherever - this group is for you.
  • If you'd like to play and support as a professional - this group is for you.
  • If you have a discord user name great; if not get one and fill in the form!
  • The event runs for 72 hours - which means international teams who get to know each other via this group can organise themselves and get a strategy in place! Click on the last picture for more details about the competition.
  • Once in the discord channel you will access best practise and top tips! You will find yourself with women who have played before and you can get organised here - Then you can enter the competition as a team - and pay to register once you are ready. Click on the last picture for more details about the competition.

Here is our POSTER, PM me if you want the PDF Version.

Each person will have to pay a registration fee for Wicked6, but the discord channel you are signing up to is free! Thanks CyberWomen Groups C.I.C. and Jennifer Cox for making the Poster and for all those below who will share this with their education establishments and get more women playing this competition!
