International Screening Expert Kerstin Bagus Marks Over 30 Years of Service in the Background Screening Industry

Kerstin Bagus – the Chief Knowledge Officer for NetForce Global, a leader in wholesale international background screening – is marking over 30 years of service in the background screening industry with experience in sales, customer service, product management, and global compliance.

Kerstin joined NetForce Global in January of 2019 and is responsible for leveraging the knowledge within the organization to assist clients to reliably meet their data needs. She has held senior positions with several market leaders, such as Pinkerton, ChoicePoint, First Advantage, and ClearStar.

She is one of the few individuals in the screening industry who has a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) credential awarded by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). She has the distinction of holding CIPP certifications for multiple jurisdictions including Canada, European Union, and the United States Private Sector.

Bagus also holds the Professional Background Screening Association (PBSA) Advanced FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act) certification. She has served in leadership positions with the PBSA and currently serves on the Education Committee, the Global Advisory Council, and assists with general global and data protection needs. She has served as a member of the Board of Directors for PBSA. She is a frequent presenter at PBSA meetings on topics related to international due diligence and privacy.

Kerstin Bagus has an encyclopedic knowledge of international background checks and I consider her the go-to expert not only on process and rules for each country, but on privacy as well.

I have written a number of articles and made numerous presentations on international background checks and each time Kerstin was willing to review the material first to make sure it was accurate.
