International Men's Day

International Men's Day celebrates globally the incredible positive influence and value that men bring to this world, their families, their loved ones and the communities as a whole.

For over 3 decades, this day has been celebrated in over 80 countries with the aim of highlighting the social issues faced by men mentally, physically & emotionally. It emphasises the value of encouraging candid discussions about men's mental health and developing spaces where men can flourish.?

One of the aims of International Men’s Day is: “To promote Positive Male Role Models; not just movie stars and sports men, not just the celebrities & top business tycoons, but every male running a family, every other working class men and business owners who live decent lives, supporting their families & loved ones, the ones we see around us whose contribution to our lives otherwise go unnoticed.”?

In this light, the theme for International Men’s Day 2024 is ‘Positive Male Role Models’. So let’s go out there and recognise & appreciate our daily life heroes who have impacted our lives in any possible way and made us what we are today.
