International Mass Timber Conference 2025 Updates: Portland Airport, Case Study Call, and Documentary Premiere

Dear Forest Business Network Newsletter Reader:

It's an exciting week for the International Mass Timber Conference team. Most of us are in Portland, Oregon, for the?August 14 grand opening?of the Portland International Airport's new mass timber terminal, and for site visits of other buildings and facilities under consideration in our 2025 mass timber building, manufacturing, and forestry tours. (The official tours will be announced soon and posted on this page.)

Speaking of mass timber buildings and facilities, we just launched the Call for Case Studies for the 2025 International Mass Timber Report. If your mass timber project has a worthy story to share, we encourage you to submit for consideration in the next edition. Your firm and project can play an important part in the industry's most comprehensive and in-depth report on the global mass timber supply chain. See this link for past case studies that you can use as a reference when submitting your own.

Case study submissions are due by October 15. (The 2025 report will be available next March, during the 2025 International Mass Timber Conference).

One last thing. If you missed my update last week, here's a reminder to join us at the 7:30 PM world premiere of the "Women of Carbon" documentary tonight (Wednesday the 14th) at Cinema 21 in Portland. Skanska?— a longtime Mass Timber Conference exhibitor and sponsor?—?is the host for the evening. See you there!

Best,

Craig Rawlings?- President & CEO, Forest Business Network LLC
