International exhibition “Turkmentel-2016” kicks off in Turkmenistan

The X International Exhibition of Telecommunications, Telemetry, Information Technologies and Broadcasting Equipment “Turkmentel-2016” and the related scientific conference have started in Ashgabat. The exhibition aims to present the achievements of Turkmenistan’s communications industry and promote international cooperation in this field.

This year’s exhibition accounts for over 90 exhibitors, including Turkmenistan’s communications organizations and foreign manufacturers. The exhibitors demonstrate their technologies in the field of information, telecommunications, telemetry, wireless and broadband communications, as well as equipment for professional audio and video recording.

The scientific conference was held as part of the exhibition “Turkmentel-2016.” The leading experts, heads of the branch-wise communication systems and transport sector put forward their proposals for development of international cooperation in the field of communication. The forum participants exchanged views on the important aspects of cooperation and sharing of experiences and discussed the areas of further cooperation and investment opportunities.
