3 tips for creating AWARD WINNING online learning.

My Guided Self-Coaching E-course for Schulich Executive Education Centre (SEEC) received an Honourable Mention in The International E-Learning Awards (2020) of the International E-Learning Association (IELA).

IELA is dedicated to advancing the knowledge and practice of e-learning in the classroom and the workplace, with members hailing from every continent—and from the realms of business, industry, government, and academia.

I have been asked by many to provide some insight into how I created the content and the learning experience....here are 3 tips:

1. Leverage your network. I am alway grateful to my facilitator and instructor communities I participant in for insights, ideas and knowledge. Get feedback. Learn from it.
2. Create content that is modular and bite-sized. Think micro - macro learning experiences result. This is also much more manageable as you develop content while working in 2020 effectively also.

3. Listen to yourself through the process. Record your text and possible script using easy to use tools like PowerPoint. You don't have to be a tech genius, but you do have to make clear sense to your learner. Listening to your thoughts and reading them out loud make for the process to get out of your own head and into your learners' heads that much quicker.
