International Day of Friendship / 30 July 2024

"The International Day of Friendship was proclaimed?in 2011 by the UN General Assembly with the idea that friendship between peoples, countries, cultures and individuals can inspire peace efforts and build bridges between communities." (United Nations, 2024)

Sometimes no words are necessary between friends...for all other situations we believe that English, as the world′s most important lingua franca, is what we need to be able to express ourselves, to understand others, to communicate successfully. Regardless of which culture someone belongs to and which native language they speak.

So that friendship between peoples, countries, cultures and individuals can inspire peace efforts and build bridges between communities.
