International Day of Charity

The international day of charity is celebrated on September 5th. The aim of this day is to encourage awareness about the importance of charity globally. What is the significance and importance of charity??

At The Cheeky Panda we support 2 amazing charities:??

The World Land Trust??

The World Land Trust helps to protect the world’s most threatened habitats and species. To date, The World Land Trust has protected over 2 million acres of threatened habitat across 20 countries. We work with the World Land Trust on our carbon balancing programme with our donations exceeding ￡12,000 to date.??

Toilet Twinning?

Our second charity partner is Toilet Twinning. This amazing charity is helping to transform lives in some of the worlds poorest communities. 1.7 billion people still don’t have somewhere safe and hygienic to go to the toilet and Toilet Twinning are helping to tackle that. To date, we have twinned 40 toilets enabling families to build a basic toilet, have access to clean water and learn about sanitation and hygiene.??

These aren't the only charities we work with though, since 2017 we have donated over ￡17,800 to these different charities. At The Cheeky Panda we pride our self on balancing profit and purpose and with sustainability as our core mission, we know how important it is protect all corners of our planet. ?
