International Collaborations

Hello and welcome to the newly launched ‘Stories from the world of O’ that will give you a biweekly glimpse into our world where the O fountain reimagines public space by combining form and function with art.

Water is part of the Dutch nation’s psyche. With almost half the country lying below sea level, our relationship with water is one of balance.?

Water inspired art also features prominently throughout the country, whether it be through large installations by Dutch artist Daan Roosegaarde that merge nature, design and technology into breathtaking and thought provoking forms or other artists throughout history.

With more O's on its way as part of the upcoming 1Million Mini Missions pilot, we’re stretching our wings and have some exciting new developments occurring.

New Manufacturing Partner

Every success with the O fountain to date can be pinpointed to having amazing partners. I am thrilled to announce we have partnered with Concrete Valley’s mbX who offer innovative concrete solutions and are also driven by the challenge of creating unique products.?

mbX is responsible for the stunning Farringdon Station in London, UK, a challenging and complex project that required a freshly designed concrete mix and unique single and double curved moulds to create this fabulous design.?

Check out their other amazing projects like the train station in Arnhem as well the Westfield Mall of The Netherlands.?mbX is at the forefront of glass reinforced concrete innovation, so we sure keep good company, right?? ??

New Dutch Distributor?

Attractive outdoor space is a priority for our new Dutch distributor Stiels, as is the promotion of a circular economy. Our values align, a crucial aspect in forming partnerships and I am excited to see the opportunities we can create for the O fountain with another distributor on board.?

School Children get Involved

In the town of Leeuwarden we are about to launch our 3rd O fountain. Children from Year 6 will get involved in the creation of the art on the fountain, creating a legacy from their time at the school. Each year, the fountain will be repainted with the next incoming Year 6 class personalizing it to their experience. What a wonderful project for Yr 6 children to be involved in! ?? ???

The next phase of the O fountain looks bright. Finding like minded people who are aligned with the O fountain mission helps us achieve our vision of encouraging positive behaviour change, reduced plastic consumption whilst?beautifying public space.
