Internal Decluttering

Human beings have the tendency to collect and hold onto the head and heart clutter. We hold onto negative memories, heartaches, resentments, and perceived personal failures. All of these stop us from moving forward and experiencing freedom, joy, and light-heartedness. Once a day towards the end of your day it is important to review what are the nurturing moments you experienced and want to hold on to. Next, what is it you would like to release and let go of so that you don't accumulate unnecessary baggage. Doing this once a week is essential, but once a year it is VITAL.
Join me in this upcoming meditation to learn how to let go of past baggage and create a clear place to receive positive life-enhancing energy.
I am offering the first Self Aligning Meditation session for FREE on Tuesday, September 29th. Come and join our group for this upcoming meditation focused on internal decluttering. It will take place from 7 PM - 8 PM, for beginners.
You can find the registration link here.
The Jewish calendar gives you the necessary time for this annual soul cleanse. Clearing of the soul is equally important as taking care of our bodies through exercise, detoxing, and healthy eating. You're invited to a ten-day process of cleansing and recharging, whether you are Jewish, or not. We can all celebrate this time of soul renewal. It is time to face what you need to let go of since its no longer working for you.
-What are you holding onto that does not serve you? Here are some examples to examine.
1. Judgements and criticisms about yourself and others.
2. Neglect of your well-being.
3. Disregard for self-love and acceptance.
4. Resentments and anger.
5. Inauthentic communication (hiding, lying, and pretending).
6. Half listening to yourself and others.
7. Lack of integrity and focus in regards to your goals and purpose.
Why are we holding on?
As children, we gather our sense of self from our environment. If we sense anger, criticism, or disapproval we internalize it and assume that there something wrong with us. This begins a pattern of self-doubt and self-criticism which is the basis of our inability to accept ourselves. This is the reason we collect all other negative patterns, beliefs, and behaviors.
This is the time to gather the strength and focus to envision the life you are meant to live and break free from what imprisions us.
Just like nature is getting ready to shed and move into a renewal pattern, the human soul is getting ready for another cycle of spiritual growth. I encourage you to honor the cycle of nature and soul.
In the upcoming days, you have the opportunity to engage in an introspective soul searching journey, a time to forgive and be forgiven, a time to receive and release. Take on the opportunity to intensify the process of internal decluttering. Look inside, be honest with yourself, and make some important decisions regarding letting go of negative and unnecessary patterns and behaviors.
