Letter from the Honorary Editor - Internal Audit Today, Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) India, from 16 May 2024

Dear Sir,

Greetings from the Institute of Internal Auditors India!

I hope this email finds you well. My name is Sandeep Basu, and I serve as the Honorary Editor of Internal Audit Today, the professional magazine of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) India. ‘Internal Audit Today’? is circulated among our members and readers across the spectrum of the professional world in India. The magazine has a circulation of over 275,000 copies. IIA India empowers its member to make difference in their professions through article contributions with an aim to share commentary on emerging issues with a wide network of internal audit professionals.

I had a discussion with Mr. S. Bhaskar, Past President-IIA India regarding your insightful article titled "The Global Internal Audit Standards - old wine in new bottle," which was previously published in The Internal Auditor. As we gear up for the upcoming edition of Internal Audit Today, scheduled to be unveiled during the National Conference 2024, hosted by IIA India in New Delhi on 7th and 8th of June 2024, we are keen to feature this thought-provoking piece that resonates with our readership. We believe that republishing your article in Internal Audit Today would add significant value to our publication and provide our readers with valuable insights into the evolving landscape of global internal audit standards. I understand Mr. Bhaskar has already requested you on this.

However, we understand the importance of respecting intellectual property rights and seek your formal permission to include your article in our upcoming edition. Please let us know if you would be willing to grant us permission to reprint your article. We assure you that full credit will be given to you as the author, and any necessary citations will be included as per your preferences.

Thank you for considering our request. We eagerly await your response and hope to have the opportunity to feature your esteemed work in Internal Audit Today.

Warm regards, Sandeep Basu

Honorary Editor - Internal Audit Today
