Intern Spotlight - Aishwarya Kaushik, Business Systems Analyst Intern

Say hello to Aishwarya! She works as a Business Systems Analyst Intern within our Digital Banking Engineering department. She recently completed her post-graduation program at Seneca Polytechnic (formerly Seneca College) in Project Management, IT and Business Analytics.

We had the opportunity to hear more from Aishwarya about why she chose Questrade Financial Group, here is what she had to say!?

"I wanted to work for a company that would blend technology and business seamlessly in the roles it offered. During my Questrade interview, I not only discovered the company's involvement in diverse projects but also got to know about the opportunities it offered for learning and growth. That was the moment I decided that Questrade was the place I wanted to be!"

During her time, Aishwarya mentions opportunities for collaboration with various teams alongside individuals who have helped her foster growth through encouragement and support. She explains, "As an intern, I was entrusted with crucial tasks that were vital for the project's success. I was also given the chance to present my team's work to the entire organization—an experience that not only boosted my confidence but also made me feel like a valuable asset to the team." She also explains that her favourite project within her role has to be the Alpha launch of our QuestMoney application. She has been involved since the inception and building a project from scratch was a remarkable first for her. "Witnessing the Alpha version go live filled me with immense pride, happiness, and excitement."?

In her free time, you can find Aishwarya delving into the world of Harry Potter (a self-proclaimed Potterhead), sketching to express her creativity, enjoying anime and even attending the upcoming Comicon!

Lastly, embrace new initiatives. Though they may appear challenging initially, they present opportunities for learning and personal growth."
