Intermountain Health Peaks Region leaders enhance leadership skills through Leading Through Others
Intermountain Health is committed to supporting, developing, and investing in our caregivers and helping to develop leaders. Part of this is done through leadership classes. Recently, eight leaders in our Peaks Region completed Leading Through Others (LTO). The program helps administrative and medical leaders in a director level or equivalent role prepare to take their leadership to the next level.?
LTO enhances leadership and operational skills and prepares participants for advanced leadership opportunities. The six-month program includes a rigorous curriculum,?leadership assessments, peer-to-peer coaching, networking opportunities, an application-based project, and sessions led by ELT members and subject matter experts from across the organization.?
“The program allowed me to network with other peers throughout the enterprise and challenged my leadership thinking,” said Amanda Feild, director of the Nursing Professional Practice and Magnet program at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO. “The relationships I built through LTO will truly last a lifetime, and I’m so appreciative of the opportunity and investment in my leadership growth.”?
“As part of the LTO Cohort, I had the privilege of being a part of a group of leaders who are committed, dedicated, and energized in becoming better in their respective roles and sharing their experiences,” said Todd Grivetti, director of Regional Operations for Care Management, Utilization Management, and Ambulatory Care Coordination in the Peaks Region Front Range Market. “Being selected as one of 28 leaders to attend LTO is truly humbling, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to work alongside some of the brightest healthcare leaders in the industry and developing further lifelong relationships."?
