Intermittent Fasting Conserves Muscle Mass - Check Out These Athletes!

7 years ago when my friend introduced me to a cleansing and intermittent fasting, my first response was that I would waste muscle by starving myself. 

Boy was I wrong! Your body is AMAZING!!! When you reduce calories it conserves your muscle because your body knows you need it! 

Studies show that after a period of intermittent fasting that fat mass decreased and fat free mass (muscle) remains the same. The fat mass went down because the body burns off fat for energy.

I’ve found this to be true for myself and many of my athlete friends. I was having a massage yesterday and the woman complimented that I had a lot of defined and powerful muscle, would probably maintain very strong bones in my old age and she could not believe I would be 49 on my next birthday.

In truth when I see pics of myself before I started intermittent fasting almost 8 years ago. I appear older then and more youthful now!

Intermittent fasting helps with insulin sensitivity, brain health, metabolism, healthy aging, energy, athletic performance, appetite control, digestive issues, targeting fat, releasing unwanted toxins and so much more.

My better has been doing this for the past few weeks. She is very active to begin with. She's lean. But now she's lean and more toned.
