Interior Design, oh the possibilities!

?One of my favorite aspects of Interior Design is creating a unique space where my clients can truly experience what great design can do. Having a beautiful environment not only lifts mood but it has been shown to actually raise dopamine levels in the brain. ?

This is one such space (actually her whole home is & I LOVE it). Taking a normal restroom and transforming it to something of art is something that raises my dopamine levels too! ?? ?

Now for the details:?

1. The cabinet, countertop & sink existed however, changing the faucets to a Kohler cross-handle to match the rest of the home's style that we defined in the design process.?

2. Retrofitting the cabinet by opening up the center portion allowed the towel storage to be defined & changed the doors to drawers & went with a gorgeous stained finish instead of paint grade. ?

3. The lights: I had this idea instead of standard recessed cans to really bring in a 'wow, that was unexpected!' feeling. ?

4. The mirror has both the black finish of the pendant lights & the honey gold of the top knobs hardware to really pull it all together. ?

5. For the cabinet box, we opted for a Sherwin Williams grey-blue not only for a pop of color but to let the stain of the wood take center stage. ?

6. Zoom in to see the cool hand towel holder that I sourced, it also has a mix of the black & honey gold and it was perfect!?
