As an aspiring Chartered Accountant in Canada in the '80's one leraned? to consider association with the customer. Upstandng or not. Nobody wanted to be the Publc Accounting Firm for?dubios Enterprises. 2. Client Specifics: Do you want the firm and role on your CV? 3. Economics: How sophisticated is your potential end-customer on the value proposition that you bring, or is a view to an absolute daily/hourly rate a pain for the end customer? 4. Politics - Count me out. My direct report endorses me or does not. 5. Economics - To what extent are Non-Charegable Travel Time and Costs embedded in the rate. 6. Locaton - at best close to home for a daily commute. Have I left anything out?

6 年Another rule of thumb? in the article for the daily rate of an Interim is 1% of the annual salary as if the position was occupied with a permanent employee. This one percent captures factors including paid absences, training with costs and time borne by the employer, and eventual severance.
