Interim Connections last a lifetime
Welcome to all my Subscribers and fellow Interims. Hopefully you are experiencing an upturn in the Market. For those still looking here is a tip for you. Download your LinkedIn Connections into a spreadsheet. Easy...I know some of you will yell 'heresy' at the mention of Excel but all the best know that Accountants will use Excel until they reach the big Abacus in the sky. I for one still have my 'SuperCalc' instruction manual from College.
So if you go into your 'Settings & Privacy' then 'Data Privacy' you can get a copy of your Connections list and then you can go all Super Accountant and 'slice and dice' it in Excel or SuperCalc if you still have an AS400 Green screen. By the time you are done you will easily get away with an FP&A reference on your CV.
Within this list is your best chance of a new Contract so I suggest you study it, work out a strategy and approach them on an individual basis. The advantage of 1st Degree Connection Lists is you don't need 'InMail's' which most people tend to ignore.
In other news Man Utd are still unbeaten though on their 3rd manager in a month and Ireland should win at Wembley on Sunday if everything goes in our favour...
