An Interesting Opportunity For Biglaw Litigators

In my role as a legal recruiter, I speak often with litigation associates, and they often ask about in-house litigation roles. Alas, these roles are few and far between (and I'm not working on any such searches right now, in case you're wondering).

But I am working on an opportunity that has some similarities. It's on the business side and doesn't technically involve the practice of law, but it draws heavily on litigation background. In fact, it requires at least two to three years of experience as a litigator at a major law firm (ideally handling M&A-related litigation). Here are the selling points:

1. Compensation: Pay at or above Biglaw.

2. Lifestyle: Better and more predictable hours, generally 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

3. Industry: Interesting work in a new and growing field.

4. Colleagues: Great co-workers who are enjoyable to work with.

5. Company: Great reputation, an industry leader.

6. Growth opportunities: As employees prove themselves, the company promotes them, gives them more responsibility, and increases their pay.

I should reiterate, though, that this job doesn't involve actual law practice. So if you are intent on remaining a lawyer, perhaps because you would like to become a prosecutor or judge someday, then this is probably not for you.

But if you might be interested in this opportunity (or others, including ones at law firms), please drop me a line by direct message. Thanks!
