An interesting mechanics question for my friends

Dear friends,

Consider a rod of length L fixed at one end under compressive load, cross-sectional area (A) made of a material having young’s modulus, E ,under the action of force, F. What will happen to the rod when the force, F = E.A. Why?

Just in case you need it, use the following assumptions:
1. Length, L = 1m, A = 1 square meter (m2)
2. Young’s Modulus = 200 GPa
3. Poisson’s ratio = 0 (zero)
4. The rod does not bend

theoretically.. deformation = L ...and becomes a flat circle of area A?
