1.????Reporting Tags

As a growing business, we would have a rapidly expanding customer base spread across several domains and locations. So when we generate reports, it becomes hard and confusing to find details pertaining to a particular domain or location. Zoho Books lets us associate tags known as?Reporting Tags commonly known as Cost Centre / Classes?and filter all our reports based on the tags. We will be able to associate reporting tags to Contacts, Items, Estimates, Sales Orders, Invoices, Recurring Invoices, Credit Notes, Expenses, Recurring Expenses, Purchase Orders, Bills, Recurring Bills, Vendor Credits and Journal entries.

By doing business across the globe, a few challenges may also occur, like making or receiving payments in different currencies. b.????Recording multi-currency transactions for a contact - It might be time-consuming to create multiple customers or vendors to receive or make payment in different currencies, but Advanced Multi-currency Handling will save a good amount of time.

c.?????Exchange rates applied automatically - We don’t have to worry about exchange rates now. Zoho Books will fetch the exchange rates automatically for the given foreign currency when the transactions are created. These exchange rates are through our third-party service provider, Open Exchange Rates, against the base currency of our organization.

3. Timesheet Module

The timesheet module is for businesses which charge their customers based on the time spent in finishing a?particular project for them. Here, we can record our employees’ daily, weekly, monthly time logs automatically with our digital timesheets. Monitor the progress of individual projects, tasks and generate insight reports. We can?create time entries for their tasks and bill our customers based on the same.

4. Web Tabs??

Web Tabs are similar to browser tabs, but accessible within Zoho Books. It enables us to access web pages or applications that provide us with an embed URL, to be embedded within other applications. Depending on the website, we can find the embed or publish URL and create web tabs within Zoho Books.?Web tabs can be used in many ways depending on our business needs.

Consider another scenario, let’s say that we’ve created a?Zoho Creator?application to manage manufacturing process, POS or some specific aspect of our business. We can copy the?embed URL?and create a web tab for it. Now, we’ll be able to access this Zoho Creator application within Zoho Books, instead of opening it in a separate browser tab.
