Interest Media's Holiday Celebration

This December, Interest Media capped off an incredible year with a Holiday Party that was truly one for the books! Hosted at The Ballroom at the Crossroads Hotel in Kansas City, the evening’s theme of Casino Night turned the celebration into an exhilarating mix of fun, games, and camaraderie. Here’s a recap of our unforgettable holiday bash and the additional festivities that made this event so special.

The Main Event: A Night at the Casino

On Tuesday, December 17th, the Holiday Party kicked off at 7 PM. As the doors to the ballroom opened, the festive atmosphere immediately set the tone for the evening. The room was elegantly decorated with a mix of holiday charm and casino glamour. From blackjack and poker tables to roulette wheels, the gaming stations were a big hit, creating friendly competition among team members.

The laughter and cheers around the tables made it clear that everyone was embracing the theme. For many, it was an opportunity to test their luck, while others enjoyed the thrill of learning new games in a relaxed, festive setting. It was more than just gaming; it was about bonding, celebrating our achievements, and sharing in the joy of the season.

Of course, no Interest Media event would be complete without amazing food and drinks. The catered spread featured a variety of delicious options, ensuring there was something for everyone. The bartenders kept the signature cocktails flowing, adding to the festive cheer.

For Our Out-of-Town Guests

We’re lucky to have team members from across the country, and we made sure they were part of the celebration every step of the way. A block of rooms was reserved at the Crossroads Hotel to provide a comfortable and convenient stay. It was wonderful to have everyone together under one roof, extending the joy and connection beyond the main event.

Additional Festivities: BBQ, Cocktails, and Brunch

The Holiday Party wasn’t the only highlight of the week. On Monday evening, the festivities began with a team dinner at Jack Stack BBQ, a Kansas City classic. The smoky, savory dishes were a crowd-pleaser and the perfect way to kick off our celebrations. Afterward, we headed to Society, a holiday-themed bar, where the festive decorations and cozy ambiance made for a magical evening.

The celebrations wrapped up on Wednesday morning with a team brunch. This final gathering was a chance to relax, reflect, and savor the memories of the past two days. Over pancakes, eggs, and coffee, conversations flowed about the highlights of the week and our excitement for what’s ahead.
