We are excited to announce the go-live of the Global Synchronizer, the Canton Network’s decentralized interoperability infrastructure. After a decade of development and extensive testing, this launch marks a significant milestone in enabling synchronized financial markets, facilitating seamless tokenization, and the frictionless exchange of regulated financial assets.
Leading Market Participants Partner with the Linux Foundation to Form the Global Synchronizer Foundation
The Linux Foundation announced the formation of the Global Synchronizer Foundation (GSF), to ensure transparent and fair governance of the Global Synchronizer, the interoperability backbone of the Canton Network. Additionally, the Hyperledger Foundation's new Splice lab will provide open-source governance, allowing anyone in the Canton Network to launch their own synchronizer for enhanced interoperability.
