Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to lead a stellar team of 10k Voices gig workers in Tokyo, tasked with a special mission for Hands On Tokyo .?
This non-profit has been a beacon of volunteerism in Tokyo, working tirelessly to engage the community in meaningful service since 2006. Volunteerism in Japan isn't as prevalent as in other parts of the world, but Hands On Tokyo is eager to change that.
We hit the bustling Arakawa River walking path and the vibrant scene of the annual Cherry Blossom Festival to conduct intercept interviews.?
Our goal??
To tap into the local pulse on volunteering. Armed with heaps of enthusiasm and our surveys, our team of 10k Voices gig workers spread out to chat with the festival-goers.
In just three hours, we gathered over 80 survey responses, each filled with insights about how residents perceive and engage with volunteer activities.?
