Interactive Training on Facilitation Skills
Those who engage directly with the community play a catalytic role in turning theory into action. Facilitation is often the key to driving the desired change. In an effort to enhance the capabilities of experienced facilitators from Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh within the Educate Girls team, New Concept designed a tailored training program and module to meet the specific needs of the team.
In March 2024, New Concept conducted a comprehensive 5-day Training of Trainers (ToT) on facilitation skills for the exceptional Educate Girls team in Lucknow. The training sessions were thoughtfully structured to incorporate activity-based learning, focusing on interactive methodologies like storytelling, energizers, and engaging games. They covered different topics such as effective facilitation skills, creating conducive learning environments, different learning styles, qualities of a good facilitator, innovative training methods, and participant management
Practice is a crucial aspect of the training we conduct for trainers. The latter part of the program involved participants engaging in mock sessions to apply their newly acquired skills in a practical setting. Throughout the training, the focus remained on fostering a collaborative environment that encouraged sharing insights and experiences, driving positive change among the facilitators.
