Bitkom’s hub.berlin, the interactive business festival, takes place in Berlin on November 28 where startups, policymakers, and academics will converge.

More than 2,500 attendees are expected at the conference at STATION Berlin with more than 500 startups, covering several areas of digital transformation, from fintech to artificial intelligence to IOT and how business, society, and politics are affected.

Among the speakers at this year’s conference are Miriam Wohlfarth, managing director of RatePAY; Carsten Kengeter, CEO of Deutsche B?rse; Peter Terium, CEO of Innogy SE; and Dominic Eskofier, head of virtual reality at NVIDIA.

The conference will take place across several stages and arenas, diving into many different themes.

Tech Arena: focusing on how new technologies and trends like AI, blockchain, and mixed reality will upend the business landscape.

Transformers Arena: speakers will tackle digital transformation in industries such as finance, logistics, healthcare, and manufacturing.

Policy Arena: on this stage, the sessions will look at how digitalisation intersects with policy, both in Germany and Europe.

The Innovation Spaces: spread across two stages, the innovation spaces are where digital business will have a chance to present their latest innovations.

As well as the speakers’ stages, attendees can visit a number of workshops and masterclasses on digital transformation for a hands-on lesson or the hub.berlin marketplace for networking and exchanging ideas. The Digital Arts Lab meanwhile is a space exhibiting the work of Berlin artists with a tech focus.

For startups, they will have the opportunity to take part in this year’s Innovators’ Pitch. There are three categories: IOT, Digital Health, and Travel & Tourism. Early stage startups will pitch their products and prototypes to an expert jury for the chance to win €5,000.

Tickets for hub.berlin are available now.
