Interaction Design Fun
Wow, factor! We need wow factor in the design. Have we not heard this line from almost all the customers that we work for. Is that not the expectation of our customers? Who would not want to wish for a WOW factor? It is one of the most common expectations from everyone in the industry, right from a startup to an established corporation, to insist and expect a WOW factor in the design.
But there are very few in the industry who vows themselves with rigorous energy to create the WOW factor and take it to the implementation level and then to a finished product or a service.
In any case, I ain't up to influence this article about what to do to versus what not to do as there are plenty resources available everywhere, here is some fun part that all UX people must have experienced once or many times...
Data Gathering with stakeholders
Stakeholders, Leaders and pioneers dependably impact/urge the group to center around the quality they alludes to, that has nothing to do with your present assignment and you will frequently be befuddled to co-relate the model.
just a specialist UX architect or Hybrid UX designer will comprehend and come to pass the correct answer for the task close by.
Quick and dirty wireframes (quick not dirty)
...And we always wonder people outside the UX domain remember only last part of the word, that’s no good :(
Quick and dirty wireframe are used as a tool of data gathering techniques while divergent thinking happens, so that all stakeholder can openly critique on it to refine it further as opposed to the finished prototype, where stakeholders will be hesitant to react due to the effort they see in the prototype.
The fun part is in the real transition from wireframe to actual visual design when some of the novice designer’s take the wireframe as the blueprint layout and apply the colors and later update the wireframe as well.
Interaction Design fun
As a hybrid UX designer often try to polish the prototype extremely good and submit the perfect model with thoughtful considerations like this one.
However, we wind up trading off for prompt working model which isn't at all like the model that UX Designer has visualized it.
Visual Affordance fun (form and factor)
Last weekend trip I clicked this photograph, This appeared to me the paste and I was about to brush until I saw the paste is unlike the regular paste and more like a foam and then I realized, it is not the paste but a shaving cream and it was one of the toiletries the hotel provides like soap, shampoo, and toothpaste etc.
Have fun, be active and share the post if you liked it
