Hey my connections!! I'm here to share you an experience about the interacting session by conducting some funny games and giving some useful insights to them. Have a look on it!!
Recently, I organized a session with juniors that combined engaging games with career insights. My goal was to create a relaxed environment where students could learn without the usual pressures. I started with a simple icebreaker game that helped everyone feel comfortable and encouraged participation. We then moved on to activities like team-building puzzles and problem-solving exercises, each chosen to reflect skills relevant to the workplace, such as communication, time management, and teamwork.
Between games, I shared insights about how these skills translate into career success, giving examples from my own experiences and discussing how soft skills often impact hiring decisions. By the end, the students were not only engaged but also took away actionable ideas on personal development and effective communication. It was rewarding to see them inspired and eager to apply these lessons in their own journeys!". This is the place where I can also able to showcase my knowledge as well as able to increase my speaking skills.
"One of the highlights of my recent experience was conducting an interactive session for juniors, combining engaging games with career and personal growth insights. I kicked things off with a fun icebreaker activity where students introduced themselves with a unique fact or skill they had. This helped set a relaxed, open tone for the session, making everyone feel more comfortable and ready to participate.
We then dove into team-oriented games, like a 'build the tallest structure' challenge with limited materials, which emphasized collaboration, creative problem-solving, and resource management. These kinds of exercises allowed students to learn by doing, which made the session much more engaging. After each game, I facilitated a debrief where we discussed the skills they used, like leadership, adaptability, and strategic thinking.
Along the way, I shared insights on how these skills are highly valued by employers, drawing from real-life examples and my own experiences in team projects and internships. For instance, I explained how effectively managing time in a group setting can make a big difference in meeting tight deadlines, a skill I’d found crucial in my own journey. I also highlighted the importance of adaptability, particularly in fast-paced environments, where quick thinking and openness to change are essential.
We wrapped up with a Q&A session where I answered their questions about career paths, interview tips, and effective communication in the workplace. It was amazing to see how invested they became, and several students shared that they were inspired to approach challenges with a fresh perspective. The session didn’t just give them practical knowledge—it also fostered a sense of confidence and eagerness to learn, which was truly rewarding for me as a facilitator."
