Inter-Generational Conflict - The Metrics for Victory

For metrics 2 specific cut-off dates are required to define Generation X. This is the generation that first comes after Baby Boomers. The necessity is a response to the very clear self-identification of the Baby Boomer generation for their own purposes, the retention of voting power and financial power. The problem that arises relates to Thomas Paine's "Rights of Man" (1791) and the assumption self-interest through the voting system leads to good government.

The atomic age creates a period of prolonged prosperity without war and the "age demographic time bomb" where all political decisions will be directed democratically by those in retirement. The answer what can the "younger generation" can do is answered by understanding what the overwhelming collective consciousness, or less prosaically the binding educational experience of Baby Boomers is? They can be understood to be na?ve in the atomic sciences.

Victory for Generation X is defined as how we return of Strontium 90 to the milk supply. If we fail Baby Boomers will unintentionally unleash WW3. If we succeed The UN or alternative UN agreement will fulfil the Niels Bohr prophecy of re-starting Project Orion (1957-65) and that requires revoking or ignoring the PTBT (Partial Test Ban Treaty) of 1963. That re-allows atmospheric testing of nukes in the atmosphere and returns Strontium 90 to the milk.

It happens in either case but you will never be wrong about WW3 being impossible until too late for it to matter. It is a bit like the one-way bet against the Swiss Frank devaluation. When they did decide to act it caused the bankruptcy of traders and companies but until the point of action it remained a "no brainer" one-way bet. The issue of the individual leader "Putin" and his age or "Boris Johnson" and his age is irrelevant from the analytical perspective of choices and outcomes. Macron is young but it does not mean he "is the choice of a younger generation".

Our cut-off dates are very important. They are the St Valentine's Day massacre, February 14th and a person born after this date in 1963 is with "us", Generation X. A person born on or before Lisa Shaw, a BBC presenter who died of a direct consequence of the Astra Zeneca vaccine against Coronavirus, is also "with us". Both dates are chosen to honor memory. The former that of John Lennon who would have been 80 and of course the sad death of Lisa.

These are my chosen dates and it may that others may win the argument for better alternatives. It is however wrong to talk about the "younger generation" as one homogenous block. Most of The Millennials are not aligned with us. In our complex metrics seeking to re-balance the generational imbalance of power and reinstate "inter-generational fairness", the "helicopter parent's generation" which is both Millennials and those below are equally expendable as Baby Boomers.

Generation X is defined by the Lazarus Gap economy into which it suits Baby Boomers to throw the next generation snapping at their heels into the economic ravine (as Franco did in El Tajo de Ronda) in their attempt to fulfil their egotistical desire to be "the last generation richer than its parents". This will not be true but they have succeeded in making an already small generation, Generation X, a lot smaller as they seek to pull up the drawbridge and govern the world "environmentally" from their retirement. They will not succeed.

The only question is why we want the children of the future to absorb Strontium 90. As a consequence of planned science through the re-education of generations into the "boon of the atom" or jump up and down like Planet of The Apes monkeys on top of the legacy of MAD on the basis it cannot possibly fail to keep the peace.
