Inter Alia's strategy 2024 – 2026

In times of rapid change and growing uncertainty, where economic, social, political, environmental, and gendered struggles for justice intersect, and claim our time and energy, we respond by sustaining and upholding standards and making decisions on how to prioritise our work. To this end, every three years, Inter Alia publishes its strategy for our main fields of work: education; political engagement; and culture and arts, as well as youth, which is an underlying target group for all our activities. After a collective process involving staff members and our advisory board, we bring to you four texts that summarise our ambitions and plans for the upcoming three-year period. Education

Inter Alia perceives education as the collective learning spaces that involve diverse methods and approaches for providing and co-creating knowledge. These spaces incorporate processes of questioning dominant knowledge, building skills and critically analysing information, values, beliefs and habits.?

Political Engagement?

Inter Alia’s work aims to build up the power of civil society across borders by organising people into assertive communities. We put our energy into activities at different levels – local, national, EU, international – and a range of areas: policy; research; advocacy; protest; education; culture.

Culture & Arts

The expression of human activity, creativity, and potentiality, concentrated in the concepts of culture and art, is important for Inter Alia in different and interconnected ways. Since its establishment, Inter Alia has been dedicated to the support and promotion of culture and arts through engagements that align with its overall mission and objectives.

Youth

Youth is connected to change, experimentation and fluidity. Social, economic and cultural circumstances constitute “youth” a diverse experience as to its duration and the space for exploration it provides. Still, the period between the dependency of childhood and the “independence” of adulthood is always formative for youngsters and their emotional, social and professional development.
