Intelligently Made in China - Intelligent Conveyor Inspection Robot Lands in South America to Help Shougang Peruvian Iron Mine

A beautiful landscape appears in the vast desert of South America. This is the "Conveyor Intelligent Inspection Robot System" independently developed by China.

This system was officially put into use in Peru on April 6, 2024. It was customized by a Chinese company for the Shougang Peru Iron Mine No. 014-003 conveyor and was responsible for the overall construction. It represents China's major breakthrough in the field of intelligent inspection of conveyor belts.

1. Replace traditional manual inspection

After the intelligent inspection robot system is put into operation, it will replace traditional manual inspections, effectively avoiding the problems of missed inspections and wrong inspections caused by factors such as low frequency of manual inspections, weather and environmental influences, and personnel fatigue. The four sets of robots will be fully responsible for the inspection of the motors, reducers, couplers, rollers and roller systems of the conveyor No. 014-003 throughout the 8.8 kilometers of the conveyor, realizing 24-hour automatic inspections, discovering hidden dangers in a timely manner, and ensuring safe production and reduce accident downtime.

2. Advanced artificial intelligence technology and machine vision, hearing, touch, smell and other technologies

This system uses advanced artificial intelligence technology and machine vision, hearing, touch, smell and other technologies to perform high-precision detection and diagnosis of various components of the conveyor. And transmit the data to the central server in real time for analysis and processing, detect abnormal vibration, temperature abnormality, noise abnormality, smoke, fire and other conditions of each component of the conveyor, and send out alarm messages to avoid accidents. In addition, the system is also equipped with automatic cleaning and dust removal charging piles and a wind and solar hybrid power generation system to realize automatic charging and maintenance during the operation of the robot, improving the reliability and stability of the system.
