Intelligent Communication with Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams transformation the world of communication

Microsoft Teams is part of Office 365 providing a powerful approach to collaboration for Teamwork. It’s a great tool for any businesses at all level to grow their team communication, workforce collaboration and take full advantage of the other integrated services within office 365.

Teams is a chat-based communication for business however it’s more than just a chat-based platform / application. The easy to use Teams allows users to quickly set up a Teams, add members (Internal and external), exchange files, keep up to date with conversations, privately chat to team members, integrate with office 365 apps, ability to group video chat, Schedule meeting, etc...

Multiple Chat rooms or channels can be created within a team and help keep chats easy to follow, conversations are threaded, from top to bottom and notify users of updates.

Microsoft is constantly improving the office 365 platform with new features & Updates and Teams is one of the applications gaining these updates regularly. Teams is integrated with Microsoft office suite which means its users can view and edit MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint as well as storing documents in the cloud storage and sharing services such as SharePoint, OneNote, Planner, PowerBI and Stream. All documents shared within a Team are synced in Microsoft OneDrive and SharePoint. This allows user to collaboratively edit and share documents and access anywhere.

Why Microsoft Teams is better than Email

The Teams is far easy to use rather than Outlook that said, with Team you can organise your all your add-on services in Tab and collaborate faster, keep track of documents and its conversation. The cool feature in Team, If I’m viewing a document I can see and contribute to the conversation that has happened around. I can then book a face to face meeting within teams or privately chat to the team member. All that in one place, however with Outlook user will be look at messages in a chronological order. Meetings are not in your threads; your file are hard to spot unless you do a search to find the email and view the attachment which makes it a disaster of focus. Teams place all your chat, files, task, meeting and other services in one place so you don’t have to switch through multiple application. With Team you can always scroll up and down to review all the conversation and keep in the loop so you can focus on specific task.
