Day Spas, you can find them on just about every corner, especially here in Los Angeles. It’s hard to think of a time when there wasn’t a place you could stop in and have your nails done, or a facial or even just a massage. Well, Patty Schmucker’s guest this week on RadioAMB remembers when there where none. Marlene Katz, of Intelligent SkinSense is one of the pioneers of what we now consider the modern day spa. Patty and Marlene will discuss just how she created the first of its kind, even traveling to faraway countries to bring back treatments, herbs and ingredients that helped her craft the ultimate mind, body and beauty environment. She also will discuss just how that experience has helped her to now develop a skin care line of her own, Intelligent SkinSense.
In the final segment of the show, Patty speaks with Vie Lette of Unicorn Poop Glitter. Yes that’s right, they discuss all things, GLITTER! Vie is creating nail art, not just your run-of-the-mill, nail polish either. We’re talking, 3D rhinestone encrusted pieces of art that many drag queens, performers and social media stars are going crazy about. They will sit down and discuss just how Vie got her start and how she is turning the world of nail art upside down.
