Google has long been one of the leaders in artificial intelligence and the intelligent application of data. The organization has access to vast amounts of data, in addition to expertise in machine learning and open-source AI projects. As part of its commitment to AI development, Google has also nurtured?solid partnerships with companies like MEDITECH . We are excited to have two presenters join us to discuss their experience and vision:

Patricia Florissi, Ph. D. , PhD, Technical Director, Office of the CTO, Google Cloud

Peter Clardy , MD, Senior Clinical Specialist, Google Health .

On Thursday, Dr. Florissi and Dr. Clardy will kick off an afternoon focus on AI with their featured presentation discussing the impact of GenAI and Large Language Model (LLM) technologies in healthcare. They will discuss the potential benefits for healthcare providers, progress on new applications in healthcare, and their vision for how #AI will help shape the future.?

Following their presentation, the Google team will also participate in a plenary panel discussion on the meaningful exchange and application of data. This session will delve deeper into the need for greater interoperability. It will include? Micky Tripathi , PhD, MPP, Assistant Secretary for Technology Policy IT, and? Paul Wilder , Executive Director at CommonWell Health Alliance .?

Attendees will then have the chance to participate in breakout sessions led by MEDITECH customers and partners. Topics will include:

• Utilizing data insights to excel in quality measures, led by Melissa Howard, Chief Nursing and Clinical Executive at Emanate Health . She will discuss strategies for succeeding with The Joint Commission surveys.
• Data sharing in the face of disaster, led by Barbara Malacaria , Associate Vice President of Nursing Services and Dee Dee Johnson, Director of Enterprise Applications at Signature Healthcare, MA - Brockton, and Margaret Clapp , Pharmacy Healthcare Executive. They will reflect on strategies following a recent 10-alarm fire that impacted the organization.
• Implementing policies and procedures to combat cybercriminals using AI, led by John Gomez, Chief Security and Engineering Officer at CloudWave, Healthcare IT Solutions .
• A roundtable on interoperability and standardization, led by John Valutkevich , Director of Programs from the Drummond Group, LLC , and MEDITECH .
