Intel truly is a great place to work!
I am honored to share with you that tomorrow (Nov 30, 2017), a combined team of 12 Intel and World Wide Technology (WWT) employees, will be traveling to Puerto Rico to help enable technology for schools impacted by Hurricane Maria. As well as, delivering over $4,000 in school supplies, first aid kits, and other essentials to the Mayaguez School District.
I will travel as part of the team around the US, from Washington, D.C. to Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, for a week assessing school technology needs, and preparing for additional support we will bring to schools in early 2018. This area of Puerto Rico was severely damaged by Hurricane Maria… and, schools in the area is still recovering from the devastation. Please find additional information below about the amazing Intel Employee Service Corps (IESC) program at Intel, as well as information about the ongoing recovery in Puerto Rico.
If you are interested in following our work in Puerto Rico, I invite you follow our team Tumblr blog that has been created below. We will provide regular updates, photos, video chats (if at all possible) to share some of the work on the ground in Puerto Rico, as time (and, reliable internet connectivity) permits:
