Integrity – A Senior Priority of Great Leadership

Integrity – A Senior Priority of Great Leadership

Excerpt from The Leadership Integrity Challenge: Assessing and Facilitating Emotional Maturity

A vital aspect of leadership is ensuring the development of emotionally mature individuals. Engendering integrity as senior priority. If this priority of intention and action is missing in fact, so too will be Great Leadership; anything less, no matter how justified, is ego-based and about personal gain/position at the expense of the greater good.

Truly effective leaders model behaviors and initiate programs that raise the resonance of enough others to create a critical mass that manifests a paradigm shift of greater maturity and thus more integrity throughout the organization and culture. Regardless of position or title, they will be the real leaders; enlightened models of maturity and integrity — our true heroes.
