Integration and Digitalisation: Paving the way to greater heights in 2025
Infinity Logistics & Transport Sdn Bhd
People Digitalisation Sustainability
As we step into 2025, Infinity is guided by two central themes: integration and digitalisation. These twin pillars represent our commitment to fostering collaboration across all divisions and embracing technology to drive efficiency and innovation. Integration means breaking down barriers and encouraging teamwork throughout the company. We have 5 different business segments: integrated freight forwarding, flexitank solutions, land logistics, logistics centres and 4PL. In the past, some divisions often worked independently in the process of their departmental with limited interaction with other divisions, resulting in probably missed opportunities, and we believe this is an area that can be improved to further enhance value for our stakeholders. To create synergy among divisions, we must build stronger bridges through knowledge and strategy sharing to unlock new opportunities and drive efficiency. Integration is not just about processes -- it is about building trust and fostering relationships where every employee feels that they are part of something bigger. Through integration, the five business segments will work together seamlessly to offer fully integrated logistics services to our customers.
While integration focuses on bringing people together, digitalisation shapes how we work. Digitalisation is not limited on how to improve efficiency by automating repetitive tasks. It is about cultivating a digital-first mindset that shapes our attitude and behaviour. We must adopt a digital-first mindset in our everyday routine as well as when tackling new tasks. Although these steps may not be the fastest or most familiar way that we usually do, there is a chance for us to rethink how we can start and integrate digital tools into our business practices. While every transformation comes with challenges and adaptation periods, having a digital-first mindset makes the transition process smoother and faster, enabling businesses to fully embrace digitalisation and pave a path towards automation.
As a service industry, people remain Infinity's greatest assets. Without the talent, we would not be where we are today. As the world is changes rapidly, we need to transform our organisational structure from a pyramid to a diamond shape, allowing more key insights from middle managers to be heard. We realised that the pyramid organisational structure, where the decisions are made from the top, is becoming less effective in communication and innovation. As we look to the future, organisational transformation must start by upskilling and reskilling our workforce. Only when our talent strengthens their competencies and broadens their skill sets can we realise a bottoms-up approach and transition into a diamond-shaped organisation.
As we transform how we work, we remain focused on enhancing value for our stakeholders through strong ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) initiatives. As a logistics company, we understand our environmental impact and are committed to minimising the negative consequences. In 2025, we will continue focusing on decarbonisation efforts by investing in the electrification of our Material Handling Equipment (MHEs) and transitioning to renewable energy sources. We encourage reverse logistics for our Flexitank business segment in supporting our 4R program –Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle and Recover –to ensure the materials and products are handled responsibly after use.
Our sustainability efforts aim to protect the environment while prioritising people within and beyond our organisation. We focus on our employees' well-being through regular wellness programmes, as employees remain the core of Infinity. As a people-oriented company, we continue to extend this commitment to communities by actively engaging in charitable activities to support those in need, upholding the spirit of “taking from society and giving back to society”.
Strong governance is central to our strategy for generating value for stakeholders. This framework shapes key practices such as risk management, decision-making, transparency, compliance with regulations, and ethical conduct. We will regularly evaluate and enhance our governance structure to guarantee adherence to all relevant regulations, helping us minimise risks that might impact operations while maintaining the trust and confidence of our stakeholders.
Looking ahead, guided by our integration and digitalisation strategy, Infinity will continue to deliver excellent services and create value for our stakeholders. With collective effort and commitment, we are confident that 2025 will be a remarkable year for Infinity. We wish that the year of the Wood Snake brings wisdom, prosperity, and success to us all.
