Integrating Templafy with SharePoint
I’ve been using Templafy for years and one of the features I love (and my clients do too) is the integration with SharePoint.??At MOSMAR , we love using Sharepoint for storing all documents that we produce in our day to day work, and naturally we use Templafy as our starting point for all new documents.?Connecting the template source with the document destination takes a few less clicks out of our day.
For instance – we browse to a specific folder in Sharepoint “Project XYZ”.?We click the Templafy “Create Document” and choose our template to produce.?After answering any gating questions and generating the document, it is stored automatically back in the Project XYZ folder.??
With regards to setup, it’s pretty easy -?it will only take 2-3 minutes of your time - the Templafy for SharePoint app can be easily found within the App Store. You can request it if you don’t have admin rights, or if you are an admin, you can set it up immediately. For me, I requested this app and asked Rebecca Painter (my admin and a great boss!) to check SharePoint so that she could approve my request quickly.
Once that was approved, I had to supply Bec our Templafy Tenant ID (which can be easily found in your Templafy URL?(ie Mosmar) -?no need for guesswork!) and the path that I want the button to default in (which in my case is our library documents) so that she could specify it in the Properties field of the Templafy for SharePoint App. At this point, you should be able to see the Templafy button.
