Integrating Avaya AES v10.1 with CM 10.1

Procedure

1.???Run?change node-names ip.

2.???Make an entry for the?AES?host name and IP address in the respective fields and save the entry.

The host name must match the host name on the?AES?server.

3.???Save the settings.

4.???Run?change ip-services.

5.???On page 1 of the?IP SERVICES?screen, perform the following steps:

1.???In the?Service Type?field, add?AESVCS.

2.???In the?Enabled?field, set the value to?y.

3.???In the?Local Node?field, enter?procr.

4.???In the?Local Port?field, verify that 8765 is the default port.

6.???On page 3 of the?AE Services Administration?screen, perform the following steps:

1.???In the?AE Services Server?field, enter the AES host name.

The host name must match the host name on the?AES?server.

2.???In the?Password?field, enter a password.

The password must have 12 to 16 characters.

3.???In the?Enabled?field, set the value to?y.

7.???Save the settings.

8.???Run?add cti-link next?or?add cti-link n.

n?is the number of cti-link that you must use.

9.???On page 1 of the?CTI LINK?screen, perform the following steps:

1.???In the?Extension?field, enter a valid extension.

2.???In the?Name?field, enter the name of the?AES?server.

3.???In the?Type?field, set the type to?ADJ-IP.

10. On page 2 of the?CTI LINK?screen, in the?IC Adjunct Routing?field, set the value to?y.

11. Save the settings.

AES Level Changes:

1.???Login to AES webinterface and go to Communication Manager Interface – Switch connections

2.???Add a Connection name and set a password. Check mark Processor Ethernet and Enable TLS Certificate hostname Validation and press Apply

3.???Click on Edit PE/CLAN IPs and enter IP address of the CM to which AES has to be connected.

4.???Go to User Management and click on Add user for cti link connection with CM. Always select ‘YES’ for CT User option. This will allow the user to get privileges to build a CTI connection with CM. Set passwords and save the changes.

Extra Notes:

In case you need to modify AES hostname to be matched with CM entry, please use below command by accessing AES via putty through root user:

hostnamectl set-hostname [Enter hostname to be changed]?
