The intersection between society and technology not only positions risk managers in a unique space, but also challenges how we convey and accurately communicate risks to the general public. How do we value and ‘authenticate’ the risk perception of our customers, experts, scholars, and civil society in a decision-making setting? How does the role of AI in decision-making spheres affect these ESG policies? All these questions and more uproot our traditional risk management strategies, challenging how we identify and communicate risks. Indeed, this is a very important piece and spurs a much needed debate in the “risk hemisphere” regarding ESG, technology, and risk management. Perhaps a missing piece to the proverbial risk puzzle? ?? Time will surely tell. Looking forward to following along for more insightful ?? pieces, Corporater!
