InTech Founders FoundHer Program: Nurturing Women-Led Startups in the Nordics to Success

We’re excited to reveal the 10 startups admitted to the InTech Founders FoundHER program, an equity-free and fee-free initiative designed to help women-led businesses reach their full potential by providing them access to plenty of resources, mentorship from industry experts, and a supportive community of like-minded entrepreneurs and investors.?

Why are we running this program? Consider this: according to the latest “The Funding Report” by Unconventional Ventures, in 2022 a staggering 91.7% of startup funding in the Nordics was directed solely to all-male founder teams. Moreover, funds led by all-male General Partners commanded a striking 84% of the available capital. These stark statistics underscore the undeniable reality that female founders confront distinctive obstacles on their entrepreneurial path. It's within this context Plug and Play and InTech Founders would like to play an instrumental role in shifting these imbalances and fostering an ecosystem where every promising female-led venture can flourish.

Agrodit AB is a revolutionary solution that dramatically reduces water usage in agriculture irrigation. Their mission is to enhance sustainability and productivity in agriculture by offering a scalable, wireless-controlled, solar-powered system integrating water valve controllers, a multi-depth soil moisture sensor, and our unique platform. With their technology, farmers can save up to 50% on irrigation water and costs, while increasing crop yield by up to 40%.

all.u.me (https://all-u-me.com/)?

all.u.me is a game changer for the movement that combats harassment against women and girls. They sell beautiful jewelry that doubles as a safety device. When activated, it calls for backup through the all.u.me app. However, more importantly, the all.u.me community engages and motivates men and boys to be part of the solution in order to shift the culture and deal with the root cause.

Cinematronic ApS (https://www.cinematronic.dk/)

Cinematronic is engaged in two ground-breaking product lines to significantly increase the viewer experience for audiovisual content via biometric user-reaction insights. They developed a patent-pending adaptive media system that ensures a consistently high-quality user experience throughout the user’s media consumption. Using biosensors, the system detects the psychophysiological reaction of users and automatically adjusts the content based on their immediate needs. Also, they are working on Biometric Quality Assurance to increase the level of user insight provided, making it easier for producers to tailor the user experience to their target audience before finalizing the productions.

Through streaming, media production, conferences, seminars and networks they provide lifelong learning opportunities for everyone in the field of law.?

Based in Denmark, Nordic Hydrogen’s objective is to mitigate carbon emissions by means of their novel electrolyzer system design to produce green hydrogen to be used as energy storage for electricity grid stabilization, fuel for the heavy transportation sector and a chemical for the industrial sector.

Nordic Phantoms ApS simulates internal critical bleedings and implements it in anatomical models, called phantoms. It makes it possible to create a copy of a critical condition in the body, without using animal experiments or cadavers. Their solution is used in the development of medical devices for quality assurance as well as for quick and cheap testing in a realistic setup.

This company brings a solution to the ethical dilemma and development costs of testing medical equipment in animals before it is used in clinical trials on humans.

Trashify is an AI-powered waste optimization solution for waste management and material recovery facilities. Their proprietary computer vision technology enables facilities to detect and analyze 100% of their waste, eliminating the possibility of human error and enabling centralized, automated waste monitoring. Their solution not only generates periodic waste reports but also helps facilities optimize their segregation processes to increase material recovery rates and generate additional revenue.

TripDoodler is a Sustainability Impact platform that helps travelers and SME businesses choose more sustainably, powered by their unique sustainability user rating.
