THE INTANGIBLE DIFFERENCE: WHAT MAKES A SUCCESSFUL ENTREPRENEUR?

I had the great pleasure to hold a Masterclass for a German VC fund and to share some thoughts about?

???? The intangible difference: What makes a successful entrepreneur? ?????

What does success in 2023 actually mean? After we have been facing shifts in values, the world order and everything we thought we used to know: Are traditional success models outdated??

Our discussion showed: The definition of success is highly individual and intangible. We found answers to our question on three levels:

ME:?

??One thing is for sure - success always starts with self-awareness and leading yourself. Cultivating personality traits like resilience, adaptability, openness, passion, persistence & empathy won’t hurt, too.?

TEAM & ORGANIZATION:?

An entrepreneur can only be successful with a winning team. Successful leaders need to find answers to pain points like?

??the war for talent: attract, develop & retain talent?

??the BANI world: develop a holistic new soft skill set

??culture & co-founder conflicts: understand culture & conflicts by making it tangible - frameworks & questions can help

??workload & information overload: promote asynchronous & regenerative work and a caring leadership style

SOCIETY & BEYOND:?

??Success can also mean to do meaningful work and to create an impact for society, beyond your own organization. We often can find our purpose by serving others.?
