We would like to start an interest group/ dialogue on InsurTech opportunities in the Indian Insurance ecosystem. What do you think are the most relevant themes for innovation in insurance in India? What would benefit the Indian customers the most? What are the largest unmet and under-served protection needs? What opportunities exist to improve financial inclusion and provide the most basic protection to the masses? What are the implications for the Insurance ecosystem vis-a-vis regulation, education and awareness, products, distribution and servicing?

4 年This is an excellent initiative. Insuretech will revolutionize the insurance industry and change the way insurers do business. The IOT technologies enable insurance companies to determine risks more precisely. Machine learning will enable insurers to mine their data more effectively and extract valuable information. Offering products that makes sense for people and their fears is the reason for providing customized products and this can be enabled effortlessly by Insuretech. Creating awareness about this in the current Indian Insurance market and recording the response would help us to identify target areas to work on and methods of implementation to increase the penetration of the same.
