Insurance Collaboration to Save Lives
Hello Longevity Assistant Subscribers!
Things have been quiet here because I have been trying to help support the Insurance Collaboration to Save Lives .
This group is trying to bring life insurance companies together and influence them to take a more proactive approach with their policyholders to help reverse unfavorable trends in mortality experience.

These past few months have been a blur with committee meetings, planning, and outreach. As of this writing, the group is still pretty new, and there are several growing pains as we try to refine the mission and strategy. Given that the whole team is volunteer-based, the amount of work that has been done so far is quite impressive.
Recently, I added a couple of blog posts that dive a little deeper into the group's mission - talking about the difficulty in measuring an intervention (What Does it Mean to Save a Life ?) as well as a thought experiment on How to SAVE A MILLION LIVES .
There will surely be more exciting updates in the years to come and if you want to be part of the journey, please reach out!
